It's been more than three years since Madonna has released a new album, but now the original Queen of Pop is ready to ready to regain her title - as she is set to hit the recording studio next month.
After a temporary break from the music world, the 52-year-old icon has confirmed news that a follow-up to 2008's "Hard Candy" is in the works.
Manager of the Material Girl. Guy Oseary, revealed the exciting news via his Twitter, writing, "Madonna goes into the recording studio next month to begin work on (her) new album... She has a good idea which producers she will be working with... There is nothing to report in regards to (a) tour. You guys know how this works... first comes the album and next comes the (tour)."
Back in December Madonna peaked the interest of fans as she took to her Facebook page to hint about a possible comeback, writing, "Its official! I need to move. I need to sweat. I need to make new music! Music I can dance to. I'm on the lookout for the maddest, sickest, most badass people to collaborate with. I'm just saying ..."
